That goal gave Nice hope and the home fans energy, as they pressed hard in the final minutes to find an equalizer.
Roma, however, managed the game well. They stayed compact defensively, slowed down the pace when needed, and used their experience to see out the match. Despite Nice’s late surge, the Italian side held firm and secured a 2-1 victory away from home.
